There are many activities and ministries that are part of the life of the Cathedral and through the hard work, commitment and dedication of groups and individuals much is achieved for the Kingdom of God.
The ministry to young people and children on Sunday mornings is one excellent example.
We currently have around 18 children attending Godly Play on a regular basis. There are two groups; the regular Godly Play group, which includes children from age 3 to 10 and the Sacred Play group, which includes children from age 10 upward. It is a joy to see all age groups as part of the Cathedral family.
It is particularly important to nurture and encourage our young people in their discipleship journey. Please pray for the team that deliver Godly Play and think about coming to the taster session on Sunday 12th June after the 10:30am Eucharist.
Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.’
Yours in Christ
