Guided Tours
Drop-in Guided Tours
Tuesdays at 2pm
Thursdays at 11am
Our trained guides are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays to take you on a tour of the Cathedral to show you some of its highlights, including the Tudor Shrewsbury Chapel, the Regimental Chapel of St George (York and Lancaster Regiment) and the Medieval Chancel and Sanctuary. These tours last approximately 45 minutes.
Pre-Booked Guided Tours
For larger groups, and for those making a special journey, please contact us to pre-book a guided tour. These last approximately 1 hour and can be tailored to special interests. We can also offer a package including refreshments.
After Hours at Sheffield Cathedral
As evening falls and the doors close to the public, the Cathedral is transformed. Join us for exclusive After Hours Tours, where ancient stones, soaring arches and breathtaking stained glass are revealed in a whole new light.
Guided by expert storytellers, you will uncover centuries of history, intriguing legends and architectural wonders, along with rare access to treasured artefacts not normally seen by visitors.
This unique evening experience includes a glass of prosecco and offers a memorable way to enjoy the stunning surroundings of Sheffield Cathedral. Tickets are £10 per person, with multiple dates available throughout the year (dates to be confirmed shortly).
