There is plenty to see in Sheffield Cathedral and we will be pleased to help you to get the most from your visit.
Our trained guides are often available to take you on a tour of the Cathedral to show you some of its highlights, including the Tudor Shrewsbury Chapel, the Regimental Chapel of St George (York and Lancaster Regiment) and the Medieval Chancel and Sanctuary. These tours last approximately 45 minutes. Click here for more detail on our weekly guided tours.
For larger groups, and for those making a special journey, please contact us to pre-book a guided tour. These last approximately 1 hour and can be tailored to special interests. We can also offer a package including refreshments.
We offer a full programme of heritage talks at the Cathedral by local experts on subjects such as the Stained Glass Windows of Christopher Webb, The Regimental Chapel of the York and Lancaster Regiment and the Shrewsbury Chapel. We also regularly feature guest speakers on subjects linked to the wider history of Sheffield.
