Our much-loved Christmas at the Cathedral programme returns with a season full of festive experiences for all ages. From Cosy Christmas events and Cathedral Makes workshops to family events, inspiring concerts and beautiful services, there's something for everyone to enjoy in the heart of the city.

This year, Sheffield Cathedral welcomes back the ever-popular Christmas Tree Festival, filling the Cathedral with beautifully decorated trees created by local schools, charities, businesses and community groups. New for 2026, Stars of Wonder invites you to support the Cathedral's Christmas campaign for the chance to win one of two handcrafted stars, SPONSORED BY, while every entry receives a commemorative, exclusive Pete McKee bauble. You can also embrace the festive spirit at our Cosy Christmas weekend, enjoy our popular Wreath Making Workshops, discover festive family events, and browse unique gifts and seasonal treats throughout the Cathedral.

Music remains at the heart of Christmas at Sheffield Cathedral, with a programme of uplifting concerts, carol singing and seasonal performances in our breathtaking surroundings. Throughout Advent and Christmas, our much-loved services offer moments of hope, joy and reflection, whether you're joining us for the Advent Procession, Christingle, Midnight Mass or Christmas Day Eucharist.
