Be a part of Sheffield's Christmas Story

This Christmas, you can become part of one of Sheffield Cathedral's most magical festive traditions.

As part of our annual Christmas Tree Festival, we're inviting you to support Stars of Wonder – a special Christmas appeal celebrating Sheffield, creativity and community.

Tickets can be purchased in-store at our 1554 Gift Shop inside Sheffield Cathedral, between 1-20 December, with every entry receiving an exclusive limited-edition wooden Christmas decoration featuring one of the much-loved characters from Pete McKee's acclaimed artwork The Nativity, commissioned by Sheffield Cathedral in 2024.

As part of the campaign, two Christmas stars, designed and handcrafted by Chimo Holdings LTD with recycled material provided by Kuusakoski LTD, will take pride of place atop Sheffield Cathedral's magnificent Christmas trees throughout the festive season.

Each ticket will also be entered into the Stars of Wonder draw, where two lucky winners will receive their own handcrafted star. After Christmas, both stars will be personalised with a name or message of your choice, before becoming a keepsake to treasure for years to come.

The money raised through Stars of Wonder helps support Sheffield Cathedral's ministry, heritage, music, events and community work, ensuring the Cathedral remains open, welcoming and accessible for everyone.
