Children’s and Music Missioner – Community of St Paulinus at Sheffield Cathedral

Sheffield Cathedral is seeking a passionate Children’s and Music Missioner to help a new generation of children explore the Christian faith through music, worship, and creative ministry. Based at the heart of the city, this exciting role will work with the Cathedral’s music department, schools, and to develop children’s choirs, lead engaging Sunday activities, and plant new congregations. The role combines musical leadership, mission, and pastoral care - helping children grow spiritually through singing, worship, and community. The Missioner will be an active member of the Community of St Paulinus, taking part in its shared rhythms of prayer, learning, and mission.

This is a unique opportunity for a musically skilled, faith-filled Christian leader who loves working with children and families.

Salary: £31,868 (37 hours/week)

Contract: Fixed-term to December 2028 (with possible extension)

Location: Sheffield Cathedral with work across the diocese.
