Sheffield Cathedral is looking to appoint a Director of Strategy and Funding.
This is a key leadership role at an exciting time in the life of the Cathedral. As we embark on a bold new chapter in our journey, we are seeking a strategic thinker and experienced funding professional to help shape and deliver our vision of being A Place for All People—spiritually vibrant, financially sustainable, and deeply engaged with the life of our city and Diocese.
The successful candidate will lead on implementing our 2030 Cathedral Strategy and a comprehensive funding plan to support transformational change. This includes securing major grants, forming philanthropic partnerships, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability. The role will also play a vital part in championing organisational growth and embedding a culture of stewardship and innovation across the Cathedral.
Salary £42,000–£44,000 (pro-rata)
Part-time: 24 hours a week (3–4 days)
Fixed-term contract for 3 years
