Sheffield Cathedral is pleased to host the third annual Community Civic Service for Black History Month, celebrating the national theme for 2026: Honouring Our Communities.

This special service will feature inspiring local speakers from the city’s Black-led churches, powerful gospel music, and information stands from community organisations. Together, we will celebrate the resilience, strength, and profound contributions of Black communities past and present, while looking with hope to a future of empowerment, unity, and growth.

Keynote speaker: Dr. Delroy Hall

There will also be an Act of Remembrance for those who have passed since the Covid-19 pandemic.
