Come and hand-print a tote bag or tea-towel, inspired by the amazing architecture of the Cathedral. You’ll be using neoprene foam to make a selection of stamps with which to print your designs onto fabric.

You can choose from a selection of colourful and monochromatic inks to produce a series of repeat patterns or a single design with your hand made stamps. Your designs can be taken from the arched stained glass windows, the columns, the organ pipes,or simply from the feeling you have when you are inside the Cathedral!

There will be lots of experimenting with arranging shapes and patterns and having fun creating designs. At the end of the workshop you will have a unique hand-printed bag or tea-towel, as well as a few textileswatches to use for sewing projects or to frame as you wish.
