Sheffield Cathedral will be welcoming both Sophie Jelley and Javaid Iqbal for their installation as the Bishop of Doncaster and the Archdeacon of Doncaster.
Due to national restrictions, there will only be a maximum of 30 people in attendance at the service. However, the service will be live-streamed on the Facebook and YouTube channels of both the Cathedral and the Diocese. You can find the links below. A photographer will also capture some images outside of the Cathedral, these will be distributed via our media channels after the event.
The installation follows the consecration of the Revd Canon Sophie Jelley at York Minster on 21 September. While restrictions have delayed the installations, both Sophie and Javaid have been working in the diocese since the spring of 2020.
