Postcards from the Front

Learn more about local war hero Arthur Herbert Procter throughout November in our micro exhibition Postcards from the Front.

Procter served during WWI and was the first British soldier to be awarded the Victoria Cross for bravery in the field. Procter later became a priest in the Church of England, keeping his military ties, and relocated to Sheffield in retirement.

The micro exhibition can be viewed at the west end of the Cathedral.
