It has been announced this morning that the Revd Canon Geoffrey Harbord, currently Acting Dean of Sheffield Cathedral, has been appointed Interim Canon Precentor.

The memorial service and interment of ashes for Bishop David Lunn will take place on Sunday the 3rd of October at 4pm in the Cathedral.

It is with great sadness that we have received the news that the Rt Revd David Lunn, Bishop of Sheffield from 1980 to 1997, died on Monday 19th July.

The Revd Canon Abigail Thompson will be installed as the Dean of Sheffield on 6 November.

The Determination is the formal and final outcome of the Visitation which Bishop Pete announced on 1 November 2020.
