On Sunday Dr Rowan Williams presented two Christian Aid Diamond Awards to Janet Else and Hedley Siddall.
Diamond Awards recognise long service to the Sheffield Christian Aid Walks Group. Both Janet and Hedley have completed over 25 years of service which has helped raise £300,000 for Christian Aid through the May Day Trek and Night Hike.
Diamond Awards have been presented to celebrate 60 years of Christian Aid Week and Dr Rowan Williams, who is the Chair of Trustees for Christian Aid, was pleased to present the awards and to speak at the Cathedral at the beginning of Christian Aid Week on Sunday 14th May.
