Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the Cathedral

Christmas Services at Sheffield Cathedral.

Christmas Eve

Festival of Lessons and Carols - 7pm
Join us as we celebrate Christmas in the Cathedral nave. The Cathedral Choir, along with a brass quintet will lead us in the singing of familiar carols and hearing afresh the biblical accounts of the Christmas story. The service is often full, so do arrive early.

The Midnight Eucharist of Christmas - 11.30pm
Join us with people from across the City and Diocese as we gather in the middle of the night to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. With music sung by the Cathedral Choir this is one of the great highlights of our Christmas celebrations.

Christmas Day

Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer - 8am
Join us as we celebrate Christmas with the Holy Communion.

The Sung Eucharist of Christmas Day - 10.30am
Join with the Cathedral community as we celebrate Christmas together. We shall light the Christmas candle and hear again of the joyful first encounters with the infant Christ.
