Creative Lent: Powerlessness

A Seniors’ Action Team Lent course led by Grace Stead from Enrichment for the Elderly. The course will explore in a creative way, Jesus’s wilderness experience using our senses, puppetry, creative reminiscence and  storytelling to reflect on our own faith and experience.

The five sessions will begin with a buffet lunch followed by a reflective  reading from the Bible by Canon Keith Farrow. Each week a different  creative device such as storytelling will be used to explore the theme. The final session will be an opportunity for the group to share their creative  achievements with the rest of the group and an invited audience. For this reason we are asking people to commit themselves to all five sessions if possible.

The programme will begin on the 25 February 2015 at 12.00 with a light lunch. The cost of each session will be £3.00 to help cover  catering and materials. Please pay at the end of each session. Numbers are restricted to 25 because of space limitations. So please book early.
