Sheffield Cathedral is seeking to enhance our small staff team by appointing 2 part-time Caretaker and Events Facilitators.
Sheffield Cathedral is at the heart of the Diocese of Sheffield in the Church of England. The Cathedral is a grade 1 listed building and is visited by over 200,000 visitors per year. Our mission is to be a place for all peopleto share in faith, learning, heritage and hospitality.
This post plays a key role in assisting the Dean’s Verger to ensure the smooth running and upkeep of the Cathedral, to co-ordinate the operation and maintenance of the Cathedral complex, and to be first point of contact for visitors.
This is a 0.5 FTE role (20 hours per week) and unsociable hours of working will be required.
Salary: £18,720 (pro rata).
