The Dean and Chapter of Sheffield Cathedral today issued a final appeal to those occupying Sheffield Cathedral�s churchyard to vacate the site and clear their tents within a week so that the area can be restored to full public use, and the work of the Cathedral continue unimpeded.

On Wednesday June 1st Sheffield Cathedral�s Music and Arts Festival will be unveiled by Sir Andrew Motion, Poet Laureate (1999-2009). He will introduce his latest book, Laurels and Donkeys (Clutag Press), a collection of war poems presenting scenes from various conflicts of the 20th and 21st centuries, ranging from the First World War to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
