Book a school visit
To book a visit please contact us by e-mail, or by telephone (0114 275 3434) and we will be pleased to negotiate a date for your visit and discuss your requirements.
Where possible, assistance is offered with the planning of your visit. You will receive confirmation of your visit after it has been booked in the Cathedral diary and a booking form will be sent to you for completion. This may take up to one week.
Please book your visit at least four weeks in advance. If you have a particular date in mind it is best to give as much advance notice as possible, especially if you would like a visit tailored to your pupils' particular needs. The Cathedral hosts hundreds of functions annually. It is essential to contact the Cathedral for available dates before arranging transport.
You are welcome to self-guide a group around the Cathedral but please telephone first in order to book your visit into the diary. Information can be downloaded from this website or there are leaflets available within the Cathedral.
Our half day visits are currently free of charge. Any donation, however small, is gratefully welcomed.
