This site can be navigated in several ways:
The colour coded navigation items next to the main image at the top of the page allow you to access the various sections of the site. When accessed, these sections have their own sub-navigation.
Within each section of the site is a set of sub navigation to access pages relevant to that area. These can be found on the left hand side of the page, underneath the main navigation and the title “navigation”. These are colour coded to the section you are currently in.
If you click on the main header image for a page you will be taken back to the home page of that section
On each page the breadcrumb will display underneath the main image and before the main text of the page, with the words “You are here” in front of it.
The breadcrumb will show you where you are within the site. Clicking on any title within this breadcrumb will take you to that page.
Clicking on the Sheffield Cathedral logo will take you to the main home page of the site.
The links at the top right hand corner of the site take you to salient pages of the site. These may change periodically depending on events and promotions at that time. The link to the main contact page will always remain.
There are various links at the bottom of the site .
Firstly you have a “share” area, where you can share content from our site on various other sites and social media.
You then have links to our Twitter and Facebook pages as well as a button to print the current page.
On the left hand side are useful links and support links. These are informational pages that do not form part of the main sections of the site.
On some pages you will see boxes underneath the section navigation. These are designed to make it easier for you to find relevant pages and they provide a short summary of the content of that page and a link to take you to that page. These boxes always link to pages that appear within the section navigation.
You will find a link to the site map in the links at the right hand side at the bottom of each page. The site map lists out all the sections and pages of this site, with a link to each page.
